Much more than a museum...

The Château de Laàs Museum invites you to immerse yourself in the golden age of French Art de Vivre through the reconstruction of a large 18th century bourgeois house. You will be able to admire one of the most beautiful collections of Decorative Arts in France.

During a fascinating guided tour (about 50 minutes), you will be able to admire an exceptional collection of furniture and art objects. From one room to the next, you will wander through a perfectly harmonious décor.

You will be amazed by the paintings of masters (Rubens, Brueghel, Fragonard, Vigée-Lebrun...), while tapestries made by the royal manufactures of Gobelins and Aubusson adorn the walls.

The arts of the table are also in the spotlight, with the work of goldsmiths, the porcelain factories of Sèvres, Paris and Tournai, as well as the most renowned crystal factories such as Saint-Louis and Baccarat.

A small curiosity in one of the rooms is the presence of the bed in which Napoleon slept the day after the battle of Waterloo.
