In July and August, a snack bar will be open every day from 12 noon to 2.30pm and from 3pm to 7pm. You will be able to taste talos (the famous Basque "paninis"), a kind of corn cake with Bayonne ham, ewe's cheese...
We favour local products and short circuits for our products, and we choose our suppliers carefully.
For a snack, small hungers will be satisfied with home-made pancakes or ice creams.
Right next to the kiosk, you will find numerous picnic tables (some of them under a covered area), a playground for children with a zip line and a swing.
For those who prefer a more gastronomic lunch, we recommend the Auberge de la Fontaine, less than 300 metres from the Château de Laàs. Everything is home cooked. But be careful, it is advisable to book if you want to be sure to have a table, especially on Sundays!
Here is their telephone number: 05 59 38 20 20
And for those who prefer to eat in another town, we recommend the towns of Navarrenx (10min), Sauveterre de Béarn (10min) and Salies de Béarn (20min) which are the closest to the park.
The staff's favourite is the restaurant/snacking "L'Estanquet" in Navarrenx where you will always be very well received and where you will taste home-made dishes, to delight your taste buds!
A private car park is located 50 metres from the reception of the estate and 200 metres from the start of the tour. 3 spaces are reserved for disabled people.
Throughout the estate you will find water points to refresh yourself or fill your water bottles.
Several toilets and changing tables are available throughout the estate.
The domain has a souvenir shop offering small gifts to take home, postcards, local products.... You will also find works of art to admire or to buy...
Baby carriers are available free of charge to visitors. Please contact the receptionists. The loan is made in exchange for an identity document.
You too can sleep in one of our unusual accommodations to discover the domain during the hours when it is closed to the public. All information on the Cabanes du Temps Suspendu website.
Here at the Château des Enigmes, we are sensitized to the sorting waste. We provide many trashes, and we encourage you to sorts your waste !
Did you know ? The sorting waste is different depending from where you come : here in Laàs, we don't sort as you will do. Little sheets on the trashes explain how to sort : please read them.
Of course, you are requested no to throw your garbage on the floor.
